Your William Alexander diffuser was made to last. The glass vessel is heavy, hand-finished and designed to sit out on display — so when the fragrance runs low, there is no reason to throw it away.

A refill tops it straight back up with the same premium fragrance oil, hand poured in our Leicestershire studio. Less waste, same scent throw, and better value than buying a new diffuser.

Do I Need New Reeds?

Usually not. Natural rattan reeds keep drawing fragrance for a long time, and simply flipping them once a week restores most of the scent throw.

Add a pack of reeds to your order if:

• Your reeds look dusty, darkened or visibly clogged
• Flipping them no longer refreshes the fragrance
• You are switching to a different scent — old reeds hold their previous fragrance, so Madagascar on reeds that have been sitting in Hamptons will never smell quite right

How to Refill Your Diffuser

1. Remove the reeds and set them aside on a cloth.
2. Pour any remaining oil away and wipe the inside of the vessel with kitchen paper.
3. Pour in the refill, leaving a little space below the neck.
4. Replace the cap and insert the reeds.
5. Allow around 24 hours for the reeds to saturate before judging the scent throw.
6. Flip the reeds once a week to refresh the fragrance.
