The Scent of an Italian Summer

Imagine opening the doors of a Tuscan villa on a warm summer morning.

Sunlight across old stone. Green leaves moving gently outside. Fig trees growing in the garden. The warmth of natural wood and the unmistakable freshness of the Italian countryside drifting through the house.

That feeling inspired Tuscany.

A beautifully green, woody fragrance built around fig leaf, soft florals and warm cedar, Tuscany opens with the crisp freshness of green leaves before developing into a delicate heart of cyclamen and lily of the valley. As the fragrance settles, fig, cedar, amber, vetiver and tonka create a smooth, warm base with just enough sweetness to soften the greenery.

Fresh. Green. Woody. Effortlessly sophisticated.

A little piece of Tuscany, without leaving home.

The Beauty of Green Fig

There is something incredibly distinctive about the scent of a fig tree.

It's not simply fruity.

Crush a fig leaf between your fingers and you'll discover something much greener — fresh, slightly creamy, almost woody.

That's the character we wanted to capture with Tuscany.

The fragrance begins with green leaf, creating an immediate impression of fresh Mediterranean foliage.

As it develops, cyclamen and lily of the valley introduce a delicate floral freshness before the fig begins to emerge.

Then comes the warmth.

Cedar, amber, vetiver and tonka provide a beautifully smooth base, transforming the initial greenery into something warmer, richer and more sophisticated.

The result is a fig fragrance that feels natural rather than sweet.

Inspired by Tuscany

Tuscany has a beauty that never feels over-designed.

Old stone houses. Cypress-lined roads. Olive groves. Fig trees. Weathered timber. Long tables outside and windows left open to the countryside.

Everything seems to belong exactly where it is.

That sense of effortless simplicity became the inspiration behind Tuscany.

Green leaves and fig capture the landscape, while cedar and vetiver reflect the natural woods and earth underneath. Amber and tonka add the warmth of the Mediterranean sun.

It's our interpretation of the Italian countryside — captured in scent.

Mediterranean Living at Home

Tuscany is particularly beautiful in homes with natural materials, neutral colours and relaxed interiors.

Its balance of fresh greenery and warm woods makes it versatile enough to use throughout the home.

Try it in:

  • Kitchens — green fig and fresh leaves feel beautifully natural alongside stone and timber

  • Living rooms — cedar, amber and fig create a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere

  • Bedrooms — the softer tonka and woody base becomes warm and calming in the evening

  • Hallways — fresh greenery creates an elegant first impression when guests arrive

  • Bathrooms — the green and floral notes give the room a fresh, botanical quality

  • Open-plan spaces — fig, cedar and vetiver develop beautifully across larger rooms

Fresh Without Smelling Ordinary

Fresh home fragrance usually means citrus, linen or something overtly floral.

Tuscany takes a different route.

The freshness comes from leaves, stems and greenery rather than sharp citrus.

That gives the fragrance a more natural character — as though the scent is coming from somewhere outside rather than from a bottle.

The fig adds a subtle creamy quality while cedar and vetiver prevent the fragrance from becoming overly sweet.

It's fresh enough for spring and summer, but the warm woody base means Tuscany works beautifully throughout the year.

A Fragrance Made for Beautiful Interiors

Tuscany doesn't demand attention.

It becomes part of the room.

That makes it particularly suited to Scandinavian, Mediterranean and minimalist interiors where natural materials and simplicity do most of the talking.

Think limestone.

Warm oak.

Linen.

Ceramics.

Greenery.

And the scent of fig leaves quietly moving through the space.

Understated luxury at its best.

A Beautiful Gift for the Home

Tuscany is an easy fragrance to fall in love with.

Fresh enough to have broad appeal, yet distinctive enough to feel like you've chosen something special.

Presented in our signature William Alexander gift box, it arrives ready to give and looks beautiful from the moment it's opened.

An ideal gift for birthdays, housewarmings, weddings, anniversaries, Christmas, new homes or anyone who loves Italy, beautiful interiors and sophisticated home fragrance.

For him. For her. For the home.

William Alexander — Elevating Everyday Living.

How to Set Up Your Diffuser

  1. Remove the cap and push out the inner paper seal

  2. Replace the cap and insert all 8 reeds

  3. Allow approximately 24 hours for the reeds to fully saturate before assessing scent throw

  4. Flip the reeds once a week to refresh the fragrance

  5. Use fewer reeds for a subtle background fragrance, or all 8 for maximum scent

  6. Keep upright on a stable surface away from direct sunlight and heat

Tip: Tuscany is particularly beautiful in kitchens, living rooms and bright open spaces. Place it somewhere with gentle natural airflow and let the green fig, cedar and warm woody notes move naturally through the room.
