Kitchen Candles & Diffusers
KITCHEN CANDLES & REED DIFFUSERS
A kitchen fragrance has a specific job: to sit alongside cooking rather than fight it. The aim is a room that smells clean and cared for, not one where last night's dinner is competing with vanilla.
What Works in a Kitchen
Citrus, herbs and green notes. They cut through cooking smells and read as fresh rather than perfumed. Avoid sweet gourmands here — vanilla and food aromas together rarely work.
- Lime Basil Mandarin — zesty lime and aromatic basil over warm mandarin. The classic kitchen scent.
- Hamptons Fresh Linen — lemon, green bamboo and white florals. Smells like a clean house.
- Tuscan Fig & Cedar — green fig leaf and cedar. Fresh, but softer and more grown-up.
- Aspen Winter Pine — eucalyptus, juniper and spearmint. Crisp enough to clear the air after cooking.
Candle or Diffuser?
A reed diffuser is usually the better choice in a kitchen — it works all day without a flame near tea towels and cooking, and keeps the room neutral between meals. Keep it away from the hob and from direct sunlight.
